Welcome to Delamain. Named after Frederick William Delamain, local resident, farm developer, horse racing enthusiast, and a prominent and colourful figure in Christchurch in the mid to late 800’s. F.W. Delamain named this area (originally known as Taylors) Yaldhurst, after his relatives stables in Exeter, England.
Now, Delamain - Christchurch’s newest subdivision - currently being developed by Gillman Wheelans Limited embodies zone changes that are part of the new city vision.
